Yugo Champaign South 3rd Lofts is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents. You will handle repairs, routine inspections, and turn-ready units, while ensuring high-quality service and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience and a high school diploma, with preferred EPA Type I certification and pool maintenance credentials. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• EPA type I and above certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance services.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests, concerns, and emergencies with excellent customer service.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, carpentry, and other tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the property and community spaces.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents by completing inspections, repairs, and turn activities.
• Maintain pools, spas, and related equipment while complying with safety requirements.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory levels for tools, equipment, and supplies; keep storage areas organized.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety standards; participate in safety training.
• Communicate regularly with maintenance leadership and property management regarding work orders and needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and compliance.
