Yugo Minneapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property safe, functional, and welcoming. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and involves hands-on repairs, inspections, and responsive service to residents.

You’ll handle plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance, perform routine inspections, maintain pools and common areas, and participate in on-call emergencies. Strong communication with residents and team is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• EPA Type I certification preferred
• Pool maintenance certification preferred if local regulation requires it
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with technology and online systems
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training

Responsabilités

• Complete resident work orders efficiently and professionally
• Respond to maintenance requests, emergencies and follow-up with residents
• Perform plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair and carpentry tasks
• Inspect buildings, grounds, equipment and common areas for safety and maintenance
• Maintain pools, spas and related equipment following safety standards
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and coordinate turns
• Participate in on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies and organize storage areas
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety procedures
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Maintain professional appearance and relationships with residents and team members
• Support community operations with other maintenance projects
