Job summary

Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and support make-ready processes for vacant units.

The role requires completing work orders, maintaining inventory, documenting work, and assisting with grounds maintenance while adhering to safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies.
• Completes the "make-ready" process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing via inspections and a punch list.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and track inventory, notifying the supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
