Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is hiring a Service Technician for an on-site role in Mountain View. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on building systems, completing work orders and make-ready tasks for vacant units to support leasing.

This position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a flexible schedule including evenings or weekends when needed. The role includes maintaining grounds, assisting with safety protocols (OSHA), and

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license for vehicle operation on property.
• Experience with routine and preventive maintenance in property settings.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Completes make-ready processes for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, and coordinating vendors.
• Manages inventory and materials, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service work promptly and accurately for records and tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; cleans, paints curbs, and assists with preventive upkeep.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing where feasible and using tools correctly.
