You’ll open doors, service equipment, stock kitchens, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and crew.

Porters perform routine maintenance, manage inventory rotation, and contribute to a clean, well-kept restaurant. This role emphasizes dependability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior maintenance to the interior and exterior of the restaurant in a timely and accurate way.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Maintain the building exterior, grounds, and inventory areas including snow removal and landscaping.
• Rotate stock and store food correctly using FIFO, monitoring shelf life and dates.
• Operate and maintain restaurant equipment safely and effectively.
• A typical workday starts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

Culver’s is looking for a dedicated, responsible, and dependable Porter/Maintenance Technician! Note that start times for this position are between 6AM and 7AM depending on the day.

Every day, our Porters hustle to set an excellent Culver’s experience in motion. They open the doors each morning and ensure our restaurants and equipment are in tip-top condition, as well as keep our kitchens stocked with safe, fresh ingredients that meet our high-quality standards. Porters keep our entire operation running smoothly for guests and the team, so we can deliver a dining experience unlike any other.

Overview:

• Provide superior maintenance to the interior and exterior of the restaurant timely and accurately. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly jobs timely and accurately
• Maintain the appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively, including landscaping and snow removal
• Put food orders away accurately, rotate stock in the cooler, freezer, and dry storage area using the First In-First Out method while monitoring shelf life and code dates
• Maintain a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant
• Complete scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly
• A typical workday starts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
