Job summary

Culver's in North Port, FL is seeking a motivated Porter to help keep our restaurant and equipment in top condition and to deliver a Culver's experience of hospitality and quality.

You will perform interior and exterior maintenance, stock the kitchen, rotate stock using FIFO, and participate in paid training to learn equipment operation. This is a fast-paced role with opportunities for growth and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide interior and exterior maintenance for restaurant timely and accurately.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Maintain building exterior and grounds, including parking areas.
• Manage stock and FIFO in storage areas and monitor shelf life.
• Learn restaurant equipment operation through paid training.
• Perform scheduled equipment maintenance safely as directed.

Every day, our porters hustle to set an excellent Culver’s experience in motion. They open the doors each morning and ensure our restaurants and equipment are in tip-top condition. Keep our kitchens stocked with safe, fresh ingredients that meet our high quality standards as well as care for and maintain the restaurant equipment and grounds in their daily effort to make every guest who choose Culver's leave happy. Basically, porters keep our entire operation running smoothly for guests and team, so we can deliver a dining experience unlike any other.

Overview

• Provide superior maintenance to interior and exterior of restaurant timely and accurately
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly jobs timely and accurately
• Maintain the appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively, including parking lot and dumpster pad areas
• Put truck order away accurately, rotate stock in cooler, freezer and dry storage area using the First In-First Out (FIFO) method while monitoring shelf life and code dates
• Maintain a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant (paid training to level of comprehension provided)
• Complete scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly, as requested by General Manager & Owner
