Job summary

FirstService Residential in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to support property operations. You will help keep mechanical systems and equipment running smoothly and ensure common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, equipment upkeep, and performing carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and flooring repairs as needed, while following safety procedures. This full-time role may require weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine walking inspections of floors to identify problems and report them to supervisors.
• Maintains work equipment in good working condition.
• Performs maintenance repairs in common areas such as drywall, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other general tasks.
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• May perform casual labor, such as moving heavy items, as directed by supervisors.
• Performs maintenance replacement and repair in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs as long as a permit is not required.
• Must properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using it.
• Other duties as needed.
