Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate to support operations at our properties in Florida. The role involves ensuring all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and that common areas are aesthetically pleasing and disinfected.

The position is full-time and includes a benefits package, with pay around $22–$23 per hour. Responsibilities include inspecting floors, performing repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and more, while following

Qualifications

• Must possess critical thinking and sound judgement.
• Maintain positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
• Strong maintenance skills in painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• CPO Certification required.
• 2–3 years of pool experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine walking inspections of floors to identify problems and report to supervisors.
• Maintains work equipment in good working condition.
• Performs maintenance repairs in common areas such as drywall, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other general tasks.
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• Performs light labor when needed under supervision.
