Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain blow molding and injection molding equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and support equipment modifications. You will troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild parts while adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will work on 1st shift with overtime as needed, participate in changeovers, and expand skills through on-the-job training and formal programs offered by Plastipak.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years in maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance for blow molding and injection molding equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Execute and improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in changeovers and ensure efficient, correct execution.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Expand expertise through formal training and on‑the‑job experiences, including new equipment installation.
