Plastipak is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain and improve our manufacturing equipment and preventative maintenance plans. You will work to ensure uninterrupted operations and contribute to our safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on elevated platforms.
• Shift work: 12-hour day/night rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted, optimal operations.
• Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and procedures.
• Expand expertise through formal training and on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation and modification projects.
