Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, monitor and evaluate equipment to ensure uninterrupted and optimal operations. You will troubleshoot blow molding and injection molding equipment and continuously improve preventative maintenance

Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, strong hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical skills, plus the ability to interpret technical documents and operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to interpret technical and operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance for blow molding & injection molding equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
• Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
• Repair and rebuild spare parts
• Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures
• Expand your expertise through formal training and on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation & equipment modification projects

You Will

• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance for blow molding & injection molding equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations
• Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures
• Repair & rebuild spare parts
• Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures
• Expand your expertise through formal training & on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation & equipment modification projects

You Have

• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, along with overtime, as needed
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Solid hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
• Ability to interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, schematics
• ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation
