Job summary

Plastech Corporation is now hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. In this position you perform routine and non-routine maintenance and repair of machines, auxiliary equipment, buildings and facilities.

In this role, you will perform machine installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production and auxiliary equipment. This includes interfacing with OEM technical personnel regarding installation, troubleshooting, repair, and training to

Qualifications

Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
Strong working knowledge of PLCs and programming.
Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, control and hydraulic schematics.
Ability to set up and troubleshoot frequency drives.
Understanding of injection molding machines (hydraulic and electric preferred).
Understanding of robotic parts extractor operations.
Understanding of dry sprinkler systems.
Knowledge of AC and DC power (including three-phase).
Strong time management.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine maintenance and repair of machines and equipment.
Install machines and conduct preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair production and auxiliary equipment.
Coordinate with OEM technicians for installation and training.
Maintain building services including cooling towers, chillers, air compressors, sprinkler systems, forklifts.
Ensure equipment downtime is minimized and running properly.
Work on a 6/3 rotating schedule.
