Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a Service Technician in Durham, NC to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities to Greystar standards. You will handle work orders, manage make-readies, and ensure safe, compliant operations across 280 units at Encore at the Park.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local creds, and a valid driver's license for golf cart use on-site; flexibility for on-call scheduling is expected.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All required state and local certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing to policy, safety, and code standards.
• Executes make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and obtaining supplies.
• Accesses materials and tracks inventory from the maintenance department, returns unused items, and notifies for re-orders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans, paints curbs/signage, and pressure-washes as needed.
• Supports cost control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials judiciously.
