Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain property buildings and grounds, ensure safety, and manage preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing vacants for leasing, inventory management, and documenting service activities.

Role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for cart use on property, and state/local certifications. The job offers a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• All state and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety codes.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant homes, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, and coordinating vendors and supplies.
• Follows procedures to obtain and return materials from the maintenance department and notifies reordering needs.
• Documents service requests thoroughly to enable proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and debris removal.
• Assists in cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
