Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities to meet company standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role includes diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and assisting with make-ready processes for new move-ins.

Responsibilities cover safety compliance, documentation, and routine inspections, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairs to policy and code standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from maintenance and tracks inventory.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools correctly.
• Assists in conducting routine inspections to identify safety concerns and communicate needs to management.
