Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role requires 1-2 years of maintenance experience and proficiency with Onesite, EPA certifications, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll handle work orders, make-ready tasks, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficiency using Onesite.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance to meet policy, safety, and code requirements.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing through the 'make-ready' process, inspecting, and coordinating vendors and materials.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts and using tools efficiently.
