Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance on the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring safety and compliance with company standards. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and support make-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license, with on-site schedule and potential for bonus programs where applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (required for certified service technicians).
• State and local certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about reorder needs.
• Completes documentation to ensure service requests are properly recorded and tracked.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing parts instead of replacing and by using materials and tools efficiently.
• Complies with safety policies and participates in safety trainings; may inspect contractor work for quality.
