Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting property operations on-site.

Responsibilities include completing make-ready tasks, inspecting and documenting work, managing inventories, and assisting in maintaining outdoor spaces and amenities.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance on residential properties.
• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems and equipment.
• Skilled in completing maintenance tasks safely and per policy.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling.
• Track inventory and coordinate with maintenance supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, clean and repair as needed.
• Assist in cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
