Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, ensure safety, and keep apartments market-ready through make-ready tasks.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• On-site role; not remote or hybrid.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine work orders across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Diagnose faults and complete preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Keep apartments market-ready and coordinate make-ready tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Use maintenance management systems to track work orders.
