Job summary

YES Communities in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community grounds safe, orderly, and well stocked. You will handle service requests, inspections, and the upkeep of community assets, working with residents and teammates.

The role requires a valid Florida driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, and prior refurbishment or make-ready experience. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operation knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• In-state driver’s license is required.
• OSHA trainings or certifications are a plus.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and pool operation experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete work in a timely manner while maintaining safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify and resolve leaks within the community.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

A valid in-state driver’s license is required

OSHA trainings or certifications

Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience

HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience
