Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical standards of our properties in Gainesville, FL. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and timely service requests to maintain safety and satisfaction for residents.

You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, document work using our systems, and participate in an on-call rotation to handle after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• HVAC certification preferred; on-site mechanical skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine work orders across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance maintenance.
• Diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and complete inspections.
• Respond to resident work orders promptly with a customer-first attitude.
• Assist with make-ready and turnover of vacated units for leasing.
