Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and participate in routine on-site operations.

The role includes make-ready tasks for vacant units, coordinating with vendors, and adhering to safety policies while supporting cost-containment and quality control across the community.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
• State and Local certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests; perform preventative maintenance per policy and code.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection and punch list creation.
• Track inventory, access materials, and coordinate with maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Complete timely, accurate service documentation for requests and inspections.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning, painting, and upkeep as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts and proper tool usage.
