Job summary

Greystar in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Service Technician for Headwaters at Autumn Hall to maintain the property's physical aspects, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.

You will diagnose and repair from resident work orders, complete make-readies for leasing, manage materials, assist in grounds maintenance, and support safety compliance.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from the property’s maintenance department and manages inventory.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and responsibly using tools.
