Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician at Centric Gateway in Charlotte, NC. You will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards for safety and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders and make-ready tasks, inventory handling, and maintaining property cleanliness. A valid EPA certification and driver’s license are required, with on-call responsibilities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property if applicable.
• State and local licensing requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and coordinate scheduling of vendors.
• Track materials and inventory and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests and complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and light painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
