Job summary

Hillpointe is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring our buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet safety, appearance and functionality standards.

You will complete work orders, conduct inspections, prepare vacant apartments, manage inventory, assist in grounds upkeep, support cost‑cutting efforts, and participate in safety protocols with rotating on‑call shifts.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues within buildings and common areas.
• Provide preventive maintenance and repairs per safety codes.
• Complete pre-move-out inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Manage inventory, schedule vendors and contractors, and track materials.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, attend safety meetings, report incidents.
• Communicate effectively with management, residents, vendors, and contractors.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification required or willing to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• High School diploma or GED and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect property to ensure quality and address needs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Manage inventory and order supplies.
• Support cost-cutting efforts.
• Participate in safety protocols.
• Rotate on-call schedule, including weekends, evenings, and mornings.
