Job summary

Park at Sutton Oaks in San Antonio, TX is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance across the community, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and grounds. You will inspect buildings daily, complete make-readies in vacated apartments, and keep equipment secure.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to work independently, and good communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience required.
• Make-ready experience preferred.
• Own/provide basic hand tools.
• HVAC experience/training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
• Communicate effectively with residents, team, family and outside contacts.
• Experience maintaining pools preferred.
• Certification in one or more of CPO, electrical and/or EPA preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs: minor plumbing, patching/painting, minor electrical, minor HVAC.
• Proper removal and disposal of trash.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Inspect buildings and grounds daily to clear debris and report areas of concern.
• Make-ready assignments in vacated apartments.
• Clean, maintain, and secure company-owned equipment.
• Participate in regular safety inspections and drills.
• Rotating evening and weekend on-call duty as needed.
