Related Affordable is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our Ohio properties safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. You’ll tackle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks and help ready vacant units for new residents.

You will join a team focused on safety, quality, and timely service, with opportunities to grow through training, benefits, and supportive leadership. This is an on-site role in Cincinnati, OH.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Affordable housing experience is a plus.
• Must participate in emergency on-call rotation.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly and interact with residents to meet needs.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within set timeframes.
• Inspect mechanical systems and grounds; address safety issues with management.
• Perform routine maintenance: plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Keep common areas clean and well-maintained.
• Assist in emergency repairs and rotate on-call duties.
• Maintain maintenance supply inventory and report shortages.
• Support preventative maintenance in partnership with supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
