Related Affordable is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep our buildings safe, functional, and inviting in Dayton, OH. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks, while ensuring high standards for quality and safety and supporting a resident-centered environment.

The role includes on-call emergency maintenance, on-site collaboration with a dedicated team, and opportunities for skill development and career growth within our affordable housing portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to participate in emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly and interact with residents to meet needs.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within set timeframes.
• Inspect mechanical systems and grounds and address safety issues with management.
• Perform advanced routine maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and grounds.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
• Proactively address maintenance concerns and coordinate with supervisors.
