Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a maintenance worker to handle non-routine duties for buildings and equipment. You will complete CMMS work orders, repair and install equipment, assist residents, and help with grounds maintenance.

The role requires knowledge of maintenance operations, tool use, and ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures. On-call duties and adherence to policy are part of the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferable.
• Ability to read simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in small groups.
• Experience with The WorxHUB CMMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders in CMMS to repair or install equipment and assist residents with maintenance needs.
• Maintains equipment, tests, lubricates, cleans machinery, and reports malfunctions.
• Assists in maintaining appearance of buildings and grounds, including snow removal.
• Uses hand and power tools following safety procedures.
• May conduct inspections and drills (Life Safety) like sprinkler and electrical checks.
• Follows infection control procedures and safety protocols per policy.
