Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota seeks a Senior Maintenance Worker to maintain multiple residential homes. You will inspect properties, identify repairs, and determine the best course of action, including in-house or outside service options.

You will manage lawn care and snow removal, purchase tools and supplies, perform seasonal maintenance, service program vehicles, obtain bids for capital improvements, and complete work orders and documentation for audits.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Check.
• Background check clearance and basic computer skills to support LSS technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repair services for multiple residential homes.
• Inspect properties and identify repairs, determining the most effective action (in-house vs. outside).
• Arrange for lawn care, snow removal, and purchase tools, supplies and small equipment; perform seasonal maintenance.
• Maintain and service program vehicles, obtain bids for capital improvements, and complete maintenance forms and receipts as needed.
