Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services in Valley Park, MO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain buildings and equipment across the community. You will handle a variety of maintenance tasks, from simple repairs to safety inspections, while ensuring clean, safe environments for residents.

You will complete work orders through the The WorxHUB CMMS, perform routine equipment maintenance, assist residents, and uphold infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferable.
• Knowledge of maintenance operations, hand and power tools, and mechanical ability.
• Ability to read simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Experience with CMMS is preferred (The WorxHUB).
• Must have a valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders via CMMS to repair or install equipment or assist residents with general maintenance.
• Conduct equipment maintenance, testing, lubrication, cleaning, and report malfunctions or needed replacements.
• Maintain appearance of buildings and grounds, including snow removal.
• Use hand and power tools following safety procedures.
• Perform life safety inspections and drills as assigned.
• Follow infection control procedures and wear protective equipment when handling waste/chemicals.
• Adhere to EverTrue safety policies and report hazards immediately.
• May be on-call and perform on-call duties as scheduled.
