Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Maintenance Worker to provide maintenance and repair services for multiple residential homes. You will inspect properties, including furniture and appliances, and determine the best course of action for ongoing repairs.

Responsibilities include arranging for outside services, arranging lawn care and snow removal, and handling purchases of tools and small equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Background check requirements must be met.
• Computer skills that support LSS technology.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and perform maintenance/repairs for multiple homes.
• Determine repair options and coordinate in-house or outside service work.
• Arrange for lawn care, snow removal, and seasonal maintenance.
• Purchase tools, supplies, parts, and equipment; manage documentation and records.
• Maintain program vehicles and obtain bids for capital improvements.
