Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Maintenance Worker to provide maintenance and repair services across multiple residential homes. You will inspect properties, plan repairs, and arrange for both in-house and external services while ensuring safety for residents with disabilities.

Responsibilities include lawn care, snow removal, tool procurement, vehicle maintenance, and documenting work orders and purchases.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a motor vehicle check.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Computer skills that support LSS technology.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties, including furniture and appliances, to identify repair needs and determine in-house vs. outside service solutions.
• Arrange for lawn care, snow removal, and seasonal maintenance; purchase tools and supplies as needed.
• Maintain program vehicles and obtain bids for capital improvements; complete required documentation (work orders, receipts, mileage reimbursements).
• Provide or arrange maintenance tasks with care for residents who have disabilities.
