Hillpointe is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure our multifamily properties meet safety, appearance, and operational standards in Daytona Beach, FL. The role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventive maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new tenants.

Responsibilities include inspections, inventory management, and collaboration with vendors and management to execute cost-efficient repairs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification preferred or required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in buildings.
• Experience with maintaining building systems and preventive maintenance.
• Strong communication with residents, management, vendors.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect properties to ensure safety, appearance, and functionality.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Manage inventory and order supplies.
• Assist with grounds upkeep and safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
