The Maintenance Technician ensures that the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, appearance, and functionality standards.

The role involves completing work orders for resident requests, conducting inspections, and preparing vacant apartments for new tenants.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with related experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required or willing to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in buildings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work full-time, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
• Strong safety knowledge and OSHA regulations adherence.
• Excellent communication with residents, vendors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect properties to ensure safety, quality, and appearance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants.
• Manage inventory and procure supplies.
• Assist with grounds upkeep and cost-cutting efforts.
• Participate in safety protocols.
• Rotating on-call schedule including weekends and evenings.
