The Franklin Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Arbors at Shoulders Hill in Suffolk, VA. The role maintains buildings and grounds, diagnoses problems, and performs repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

On-call availability and adherence to OSHA standards are required to ensure safe, efficient operations. Salary ranges from $17.00 to $27.00 per hour; base pay may vary with experience and property type.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience or training.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliance knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to operate safely and follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs).
• Respond to resident work orders and notify management upon completion.
• Maintain daily upkeep of the community and vacant units before occupancy.
• Keep track of supplies, tools, and equipment; report inventory levels.
• Follow safety standards and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
