Job summary

The Abbey at South Riding in South Riding, VA seeks a Maintenance Technician to sustain property buildings and grounds. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.

Responsibilities include responding to resident requests, maintaining suites, and ensuring safe, clean common areas. On-call duties and proper tool handling are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience.
• HVAC certification is preferred.
• CAMT certification is recommended.
• Fair Housing Certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Respond promptly to resident work orders and update management.
• Maintain daily upkeep of the community.
• Perform punch list on vacant units before new occupancy.
• Manage tools, supplies, and inventory.
• Maintain safety and professional appearance.
