Job summary

Sterling Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Madison Park in Birmingham, AL. The role ensures property standards, performs repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and more, and reports to the Property Manager.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in maintenance, with a valid driver’s license; EPA and pool licenses are a plus. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, and bring your own basic tools.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• 1–2 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
• EPA Certification and Pool License preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills.
• Own basic tools required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical aspects of the property meet established standards.
• Diagnose problems and perform repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances.
