Job summary

Camden Property Trust seeks a Maintenance Technician who is customer-focused and enjoys a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, performing preventative maintenance, preparing vacant apartments for new residents, and ensuring community upkeep.

Qualified candidates will have at least six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry, with a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
• EPA Type I, II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Ensure upkeep of community appearance.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and other tasks as needed.
