Job summary

BH Management, LLC in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Service Technician I to help maintain our apartment communities. The role focuses on diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and assisting with make-readies to move units in move-in ready condition.

You will support preventive maintenance and small construction or rehabilitation projects, follow safety guidelines, use industry tools, and respond to resident requests in line with company standards.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year general maintenance and safety experience.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Owns industry-specific hand tools.
• HVAC knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and make general repairs to apartments and common areas.
• Assist in apartment make-readies to move-in ready condition.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and small construction/rehabilitation projects.
• Respond to maintenance requests per company standards and troubleshoot issues.
• Post notices to vacate or other community communications when applicable.
• Share on-call responsibilities, including during inclement weather.
