Job summary

RangeWater Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of our multifamily properties. You will perform routine maintenance, service requests, and make-ready tasks to prepare units for new residents while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and EPA refrigerant certifications. You will work a 40-hour week with varied shifts to support residents and the properties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal are required.
• Current valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders within 24–48 hours and repairs per safety standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Fixes parts when possible to support cost-control programs and uses tools correctly.
• Manages materials from the maintenance shop and tracks inventory and re-orders as needed.
• Documents work orders accurately to ensure proper recording and tracking.
• Inspects contractor work to verify quality and compliance with scope.
• Adheres to RangeWater safety policies and participates in safety trainings.
• Provides courteous customer service to residents and coordinates with the team to resolve issues.
• Assists in routine property inspections and communicates needs to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
