Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and amenities. The role includes handling work orders, make‑ready processes, and routine maintenance with a focus on safety and adherence to policy.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with rotating on‑call. Requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license for on‑site

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and local certifications as required for Service Technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, depending on property size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Performs make‑ready tasks for vacants, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and informing supervision when re‑ordering is needed.
• Maintains timely, accurate service documentation to track requests and work performed.
• Supports grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Seeks cost efficiency by repairing parts when feasible and using tools correctly.
