Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform service orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks in our properties. You will diagnose issues, repair systems, and ensure safety standards are met while maintaining inventory and documenting work requests.

The role includes keeping grounds clean, assisting with cost control, and performing required safety training; candidates should have EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and a CPO

Qualifications

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).
Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety standards and codes.
Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspecting completed work.
Manages materials and inventory by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
Maintains grounds and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed; supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts.
