Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet our standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Essential duties include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, tracking materials, and maintaining common areas. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required. This on-site role offers robust benefits and on-call opportunities.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and codes.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling.
• Manages materials and inventory through maintenance department and notifies supervisor for reorders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas and assists with cleaning and light repairs.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible.

Education
