Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of a Durham property. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support make-ready processes for leasing.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license for propety operations. You will work on-site Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities and contribute to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must perform preventive and corrective maintenance to meet property standards.
• EPA certifications Type 1/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling required for technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Commitment to safety policies and on-site OSHA training when required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Conduct make-ready processes for vacant apartments and coordinate needed tasks.
• Source and return materials, track inventory, and notify supervisor on reorders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; clean and paint as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing parts when feasible and using resources efficiently.
