Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings meet safety, cleanliness, and usability standards across properties. You will diagnose and repair issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support make-ready processes for new residents.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses where required, and a valid driver's license. You may work on grounds, assist with punch lists, and participate in safety trainings as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling.
• Follows procedures to access materials and tracks inventory, returning unused items and notifying supervision for reorders.
• Completes timely, accurate paperwork so service requests are documented and traceable.
• Supports grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting curbs, and maintaining pool areas as needed.
• Assists in cost control by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
