Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance and keep common areas clean on-site at our property. The role includes custodial duties, grounds work, make-ready preparation, basic pool care, and safe operation of tools and equipment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are important. Typical duties involve completing work orders within 24–48 hours and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related field experience preferred.
• General knowledge in skilled trades including construction/installation, repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular custodial duties around the property, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal.
• Complete grounds work such as cleaning dumpster areas, blowing parking areas, removing debris and power washing.
• Clean breezeways, trim plants and maintain landscaping, including irrigation monitoring and pruning.
• Assist in make-ready units and prepare vacant apartments for occupancy.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and maintain shop organization.
