Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Previous experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, including preventative maintenance.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing or move-ins.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools correctly.
