Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure building interiors, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. The role involves diagnosing defects, completing repairs, and performing make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

Responsibilities include processing work orders, preventative maintenance, inventory tracking, and accurate documentation. The job supports on-site operations with light cleaning and painting as needed; on-site housing discounts may be available.

• Ability to read and follow work orders
• Good time management and organization

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance per policy
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, inspect, and coordinate repairs
• Track inventory and return unused items; notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed
• Document work completed accurately for records and reporting
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and minor painting as needed
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible
