Job summary

You will diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues across molding cells, robotics, and support equipment, applying root-cause analysis and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. You will dismantle machines, replace worn components, test repairs, and document findings while mentoring team members and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiar with injection molding equipment and robotics.
• Strong safety and regulatory compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects machines to locate malfunctions.
• Applies Plan-Do-Check-Act methods for troubleshooting.
• Performs proactive maintenance to determine root causes.
• Dismantles machines to access problem areas.
• Replaces worn or defective parts of drives or hydraulic systems.
• Tests repairs and restarts equipment to ensure production readiness.
• Documents findings and assists in tooling/prep for production.
• Mentors and coaches other technical team members.
